Ken specializes in helping "problem horses" and their owners who
care. He also takes the important lessons these horses teach him
and applies them to starting colts so they won't become problem

Coaching is part of the training so riders have a better
understanding of what their equine partners have learned.

Coaching can also be provided to boarders or on a haul in basis.
One on one or small groups.

Ken's style is different from most - he helps people understand the
anatomy and basic psychology of their horses so they can learn
why their horses do what they do.

We do not have a 'normal' lesson program as there are many such
facilities in the Edmonton area. Our focus is helping people who
want to know more than just how to go around an arena. We do
have a few horses that can be used to help riders begin their
equine experience or experience some coaching when hauling is
temporarily a difficulty.

All breeds, discipines and ages of horses accepted, but be
prepared to have your current way of thinking about controlling your
horse questioned and challenged.  It doesn't mean what you
already know is wrong, just that perhaps you have never really had
to think about it before.
Outdoor board only.  Indoor riding arena.  2 outdoor riding arenas.
Access to over 200 acres of undeveloped land for trail riding. Short
term board available for vacations.
Haul in occasional arena use is also available by appointment only.
Paints, pintos, quarter horses, part-arabs, warmbloods and grades are all available. Other
breeds on occasion.  From weanlings to experienced.
We have an unusually generous trial arrangement, to ensure our horses are well matched.

Latest News
Several times through the year we host a variety of clinics:- horse anatomy, techniques in
bitting, reining, english horsemanship, western horsemanship, trail tactics, trailer loading,
osteopathy, groundwork and others as suggested by need.

Ken will also come to your facility for a clinic or to judge your event.
Ken will come to your facility to help your horse learn to load into and out of your trailer and help
you understand the safest way to make that happen without a fight.

Hauling services can be provided.  Ken does a fair amount of hauling for the local veterinary
clinics and other local hauls for individuals or groups.
Ken will help you evaluate what type of horse you should be looking for and can come with you
to have a look at your prospects.
3 outstanding stallions to choose from, all with foals on the ground to have a look at.

Do you have a stallion you would like someone else to manage for you?  Ken has an excellent
touch with stallions, and conception rate is very high.  All outside horses are given the same
care as if they belonged to us personally.
Would you like to spend some time just handling horses?
We can always use help with
  • picture taking or videoing
  • grooming
  • handling foals
  • preparing for shows (bathing, clipping, etc.)
  • and even coming to help show at halter or halter showmanship

Get your horse fix without the expense or responsibility of owning a horse.
