RAFTER DIAMOND K LIVESTOCK
ROPE HALTER
5/16 double braid Dacron/poly blend yacht rope.
Hand tied with a fiador knot at the chin.
These long lasting easy care halters are more effective for
ground work exercises than regular halters.
Can be custom sized to your horse.
The pictures to the right show how to correctly tie a rope
halter. The crown piece is tied around the loop. This
allows you to work the knot loose by pushing on the top of
the loop if your horse ever pulls it tight.
Rope halters are not safe to leave on your horse in the
stall or pasture.

MECATE REINS (also often called MECARTE reins)
22 ft of 9/16 double braid Dacron/poly blend yacht rope with
leather popper. For use with a bosal or snaffle bit.
The weight and feel of this rope allow communication with
your horse with just the slightest movement from you.
Great on the trails with the built in lead and can be used to
safely tie your horse without having to bring along your
halter.
Available in the same colours as the joined reins, but the
yacht rope has the best feel.

loop and leather popper. No hardware to break. Throw it in
the washing machine to clean.
This rope was specially selected for its weight and feel for
better communication with your equine partner.
We have also added nylon and polyester to increase the
variety of colours available. See the joined reins pic for
more colours.
